Pretty Girl needs a Name...

When the Barbie Basics 2.0 came out.. I really didn't think twice about this girl. Then of course, Flickr, which is the mortal enemy of my bank account started posting all sorts of lovely pictures of this girl... I absolutely had to have her and I jumped at the chance to get her during a 20% off sale before Christmas time.

She has NO name, NO character, NO personality... I have dressed her up in all sorts of clothes and nothing is coming to me.

So I need your help.. I need a name and personality for this girl. I can envision her working at either the coffee shop I plan on making or at the hair salon/makeup boutique. She's so beautiful and I want someone to tell me who she is!!

Her hair is cut and styled by me of course... and she is rebodied on a fashionista body.

I love this doll. She has the Teresa face mold, but with blonde hair. She looks like her name could be Lacy or Kacy to me. Lol! Giving them names is the fun part.

I have this doll and adore her. Like you, when I first spotted her I didn't want her. Then I saw everyone on Flickr with her, and I fell in love with her too. I named my gal Samantha, but everyone calls her "Sammy" or "Sam". She is a spit fire with a flare for fashion. So, in all, I find unisex names or names that can easily be nick names work well for this doll. Some options might be... Bailey, Erin, Rylee, or Jordyn. With the awesome cut and style you gave her she reminds me of a quirky art student with a flair for fun (not too much fun though lol). So, working in a coffee shop setting might repress her artistic side enough to create a really interesting character response. Or maybe she is always pitching her newest creative endeavors to the customers. Wow...I'm rambling. lol

I can absolutely see her being a Kacy, or Casey, or Kacie, or Kaycee, working in a Salon as a nail technician who can't help herself and is always doing way to fancy and cute nails for the girls...

Because she's really an aspiring artist (I see her doing something that involves a lot of movement, like painting or sculpture) or fashion designer.

ps...I love the new header, Liz does amazing work.
